Systems Engineer (Requirements Management)

The Requirements Manager job deals with the process of documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing and agreeing on requirements, and then controlling change, and communication to relevant stakeholders. It is a continuous process throughout a project.


Requirements Management Plan
The Requirements Manager is responsible for undertaking requirement management tasks in support of developing the whole product design, support and guide project design team members to ensure that requirements are correctly considered/cascaded, that valid technical design decisions are made, and that associated technical risks are identified and managed.

Requirements specifications
The Requirements Manager is responsible for ensuring that all requirements are consolidated in a project set of technical requirements; that all requirements are allocated to one or several design team members; that division and allocation is elaborated by adequate specialists; and that the established requirements correspond to those demanded.

Architecture specification
The Requirements Manager will check the overall consistency and correctness of the links between sections, and ensure the alignment between design documents or design activities. The Requirements Manager will develop a risk management plan based on the potential performance gaps between expected final performance and contractual or legal obligations

System Design Description
The Requirements Manager will carry out regular reporting on the following activities : change (from an existing product), ensurance of a correct tool set-up, definition of Requirement Breakdown Structure for the project, identification of users.

Relevant Degree (Engineering, Computer Science,…);
Ability to read and interpret requirements within specifications;
Experience in requirements management, if available;
Knowledge of IBM Tools (DOORS or IMS), as well as DXL scripting, will be considered an asset;
Critical attention to detail and deadlines, self-motivated;
Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priorities in a project and deadline-oriented environment;
Excellent communication skills;
Fluent in English: speaking, reading, and writing;
Knowledge of French or German is a plus.

We plan to close the talent pool by the end of March 2018.
